WANTED: Follow-up from Green Elephant Plant Swap

Just taking a break from trying to put all those wonderful plants that I got earlier today from the swap into the ground. :-) It was my first swap, and I just want to thank all the very friendly and generous people! I was the one in the Halo 3 cap with my 8 y.o. son and 2.5 y.o. daughter.

I brought a couple of young Japanese maples (for the lady who asked, I'm pretty sure now that they're of the "Blood Good" variety) and a few pots of blue hydrangeas, but I got way more plants in return. Thank you. Thank you!

I'll definitely bring more Japanese maples next time (when/where?) -- I have over a dozen "treelets" in 1 gallon pots.

After a few more swaps, I'm going to have to convert part of my lawn into a planting area! :-)

This was my first swap too, and I really enjoyed it. I only had a few callas to swap, but next time I should have much more. Thanks to all of you for your generosity.

Did I meet Lawrence and Daisy? I can't keep real names/screennames straight anyway.

This is a wonderful semi-annual event and one of the best turnouts I've seen. I'm motivated to get ready for the Spring swap now myself!

One word on the March Green Elephant- be prepared for rain, just in case..... Last year we got lucky with only overcast skies.

Very nice to meet all the GWebbers I did see today. And Thanks to Mr. Erickson, I think, for the mystical worm tea. Works wonders!
