i just ordered 12 small Green Giants (thuja plicata) that are 12in tall. its quite nippy in my neck of the woods with about a foot of snow outside.I put them all in 6in pots and have them in my garage which stays about 35-45 degrees.Im fairly new to this wonderful world of gardening, and was so excited to get them in my posession that i couldn't wait until spring. I figured if i got them now i would have them at the very first sign of thaw come spring time..lol. I was wondering if there is a better way to winter them, or am i going to be ok. If anyone has any input i would love to here it.
