wanted: wanted: mainly info on how to ship my trades!

I apologize if this has been answered and I missed it but I will have plants to trade such as pickerel rush, lizard's tail, parrots feather, water celery, etc. and want to know how you all ship it--plastic bags? Newspaper around the roots? I would not want to trade and then mail a recipient plants that would be dead by the time they reached their destination. Thank you in advance. I am a new pond owner and have only ordered from one online company.

I ship mine in spring and fall only! hot summer weather will cook them in the bags. I bag them with wet paper towels and plastic wrap around the roots for bog plants (remove the top growth) for submerged plants I just bag them in zip bags no water just the wet plant. I only use the USPS small flat rate boxes for water plants. Hope this helps. LMK when you are ready to trade I might be interested! I have 3 Ponds.
