WANTED: Azolla/Water Fern, Also Plant Tip, and Question

I just bought a bunch and the rain took it away..... sigh.

My ponds are small and it gets eaten by pond critters. A couple of pounds or about 6 big hand fulls.

I will trade you this tip: Impatients grow real good in the pond. I havent tried bare root yet, but i have pot, rocks, dirt, plant, dirt, rocks... it lasts until the frost bites it.

Know of any other common plants that do well in the pond?

I used to work at an aquatic nursery and we sold canna and calla lilies as aquatics and they were regular ole' plants.

As long as they have sprouted first, they will grow just fine in the water.
Impatients, Mint, Creeping Jenny/Creeping Charlie, and lots of others. What are those taro looking things... like Mini Elephant Ears?? They do great too. Of course, I will remember after I post this.
