This year I'm starting my very first water garden. It is a 30 gallon oval container 18"x30"x16" deep and will be on my balcony. I plan on rooting some watercress, and I have a spiderplant, but otherwise am starting from scratch. I would love a mini water lily, mini cattail, some kind of floater...? I'm open to suggestions and advice.

I recently moved to the city and had to leave nearly all of my garden behind. However, I do have seeds that I can trade for plants. I have some heirloom toms, and flower seeds. I'm also happy to sase or trade other things.
