WANTED: Starting lotus over / darn cat!

Hi Everyone!

I had 3 hardy lotus seeds started in a wash basin. They all had 3 leaves, I was so excited! We had frost warnings last night so I brought the basin in. Woke up this morning to all of them pulled out of the basin and ripped to pieces by my cat. She even played with the seeds so much that all the brown coating was off and they were destroyed. AHHH!! I was so upset!

Does anyone have any seeds or tubers to spare? I just finished my new pond and am trying to get some plants started for next spring. (Photo attached.) I also need hardy water lily's, or any hardy pond plant. I have bought one white lily but will need more to be able to shade this pond. I would greatly appreciate any water plant you can spare.

I can send postage. Thanks so much! Renee
