wanted: anything that will survive in small water garden in az

I have a small water garden (about 17" across and 15" tall) that's in a shady spot in Phoenix. Everything dies there, except for one little local-adapted bog plant (Anemopsis californica, or Yerba Mansa) that keeps throwing off babies.

I will trade babies of my Yerba Mansa for anything that has a snowball's chance of surviving in shaded, alkaline, somewhat salty, and occasionally somewhat too warm water. I also have some I'itoi onions (a local-adapted bunching onion) and assorted garden seeds (of varying vintage) that I'd be willing to trade.
