There is also another one that will show an attachment entitled" postcard from hallmark" DO NOT OPEN ANY MESSAGE WITH THIS REGARDLESS OF WHO SENT IT TO YOU. This virus will open a postcard image which burns the whole hard brive disc of your computer. This will be recieved from someone who has your e-mail address in his/hercontact list. PLEASE SENT THIS MESSAGE TO ALL YOUR CONTACTS AS IT'S BETTER TO GET THIS MESSAGE 25 TIMES THAN RECIEVE THIS VIRUS.

If you recieve a e- mail called "postcard" even though sent to you by a friend, do not open it! Shut down your computer immediatly. This is the worst virus announced by cnn. It has been classified by Microsoft as the most destructive virus ever. This virus was discovered by McAfee on March 22 and NO REPAIR KNOWN YET for this kind of virus. This virus simply destroys the Zero Sector of the hard dics where the vital information is kept .

There are several news reports circulating regarding the "Conficker C" worm that is set to strike on April 1, 2009.

For those who are concerned about their computers there are a few steps you can take right now.

First, back up any important data. This is just plain sound advice, regardless of viruses, worms, etc. A hard drive crash can destroy data.

Make sure that the Windows Security Center is working and keep up on your windows updates. Check on the status on your firewall and make sure you have a current up-to-date antivirus software program. If you do not know how to do this, then check out http://www.staysafeonline.org for some easy to digest security education.

Conficker.C is a pretty nasty piece of malware. But remember, there are thousands of other threats out there as well. If you are taking the right steps to keep your computer secure, then Conficker.C will be no riskier to you than the other threats you have not been getting infected with.
