| I just wanted to say goodbye to everyone! We're cutting off the internet at the end of the month as we prepare to move (the big day is May 15th)...and we won't be getting reconnected once we're out there. (If the library out there has internet access I'll try to check in once in a while.) It's been really fun getting to know you all over the last couple of years (and getting really great gardening ideas). If anyone ever wants to have a FN reunion in SK...I know of a farm where everyone can come and park their campers or pitch their tents. ;o)

| I'm sure the library will have internet/high speed - it was a Sask Gov't thing a number of years ago to make sure all libraries and schools in the province had high speed connection (I think our little library has 2 computers). Moving can be scary, exciting, and stressful. But a deep breath and 'one day at a time' goes a long way to making it easier. Enjoy!!!! |

| We made it!! The farm is awesome...had to run errands in town so I popped into the library. I've started unpacking but I have three new flowerbeds in already (I didn't want to disturb the plants in the other beds until I know what all is in there...so far seeing lots of large fern leaf peonies, daylilies, several roses...oh...and we have a little creek that runs behind our house and all through both 1/4s of our property that is just loaded with march marigolds...very pretty!!) Well I better run...Hubby's waiting.

| Verena it sounds so lovely! I love those marsh marigolds....they're such a bright, cheery colour. So, only 3 new flowerbeds?!LOL It sounds like you've been very busy, and how exciting it must be for you watching as new plants pop up. I never had that when we moved here. There was just some grass around the house, and a stubble field, so very boring. Are you able to post pictures from the library of your yard? I'd sure love to see them. Glad to hear that your move went well. Laurie |
