Well for once it seems that GW is trying to do something that we might appreciate... rather than ladeling on the advertising... but so far it's bugging me.

I think it's a pretty neat feature - I tried it quickly and it might come in handy.

Yes.

Where I see it coming in handy is when I want to save a post you made with picture included. This would be a great way to keep a wish list. I'm not so organized that I write things down right away. I forget which post they were in (what week was that photo in?) or even what it was, just that I liked it. Clipping would be so fast, I think.

Or, if I ask a question about, for example, how to plant glads, and I like someone's answer then I clip and save that post. The clippings can be made public or private (I believe each individual clipping can be either private or public), and are saved to your member page under the heading 'clippings'.

I just saved the rock garden instructions and pictures that Pudge posted last year. I've always liked the concept of rock gardens but didn't know how to make one.
So I think 'clippings' is a nice feature. I hadn't even noticed this until reading about it here.

I like the clippings too! I just saved some info about what plants are blooming now (ie, my Wish List! LOL) so I can fill in the gaps. I find I go through times when things bloom like crazy and it looks great and then there is a week or two where not much is happening. Thus my "early June bloomers wish list".
