My dad was there as well. Not selling but browsing. He was talking a mile a minute about how great it was. It would be something that I would like to check out next year.

I was there but just looking. I've contemplated several times about selling there but never have. I generally go every year to look, though. It was a nice mix this year - not too much of any one thing and all of good quality.

But with my usual lack of foresight, it wasn't until we were returning home (it's about a 4 hr drive)that I was thinking about the dried flower displays and wondering if you were one of the sellers.
As I said though, we were very impressed and hope to return next year. Maybe we can make a plan. There's no place to shop in this town, so we also were able to do clothes shopping in the mall and I picked up a big bale of Promix at Canadian Tire. All in all a very enjoyable weekend.

There's a few greenhouses/nurseries in Yorkton that are worth visiting - two in particular that sell a lot of shrubs and trees. The third (and the name escapes me), is nice any time of year. There's a beautiful lunch/tea area - each table is under its own gazebo, beautifully interior landscaping, and the greenhouse is heated/cooled to a comfortable temperature year-round. Well worth a visit even if it is only for lunch and no plant shopping.

Four hours is a bit of a drive, worth an overnight and making it a two-day trip to get in more shopping. Sunflower is always held the weekend after Labour Day. I'm sure the hotels book up for that weekend, but if you booked ahead it would probably make your trip all that much more enjoyable.
