Guess it is my turn for the F’s....

I love the Front entrance of our house, the way the walkway winds and the trees and shrubs around it.

F is for Fog. This is the view from our house looking over the valley in the summer. We never tire of seeing the Fog in the bottom of the valley. Sometimes it is so thick you can’t see in the valley at all, all you can see is the other side.

Fog over the valley

F is for Fishing. This is one of the many fish we caught this summer. Going Fishing is one of the best reasons to get me to temporarily leave the acreage and its flowers in the summer.

and then of course, if it is a good day fishing, some Fish Fillets...

Framed pictures. This old window is one that a friend of mine made up. He took these pictures, placed them in the old window and has sealed it such that no moisture can get at each picture, either from the front or back. He has a number of these type of old windows with pictures inside them hanging from his fence. I love them!

Fun in the hot tub. Younger kids really enjoy it, even if they have to wear a life jacket!

Fun on a tube behind our boat at the lake. Now, this is fun, for the older ‘kids’. We make them wear life jackets too!

Frosted Jade Plectranthus is a new plectranthus for me last summer.

With Sempervivums I am trying to get individual side pictures, top pictures and clump pictures of each variety. So, you will see different views of different semps depending upon which view I have already taken.

Ohhhhh, to have that much planting space for gardening! I only wish. I am late reading the 2008 alphabet posts. I'm making a list of who has what (that I like) and hope you don't mind me asking if you wouldn't mind sharing where you got them and where I could maybe get some. I'm sure my list will be longer than I have gardening space for, but it's fun to make a list anyway.

Wish I could have met you girls this summer when in Calgary, but I did meet Terry and we had a fabulous day.

Joan
