| Ohhh, I really like that John Paul Clematis Laurie!!!!! I'll have to keep my eye open for that one this spring. I need to add more vines/ height to my garden this year, more trellis, arbors, obelisks, perhaps even a pergola if I beg DH to build me one ;)

| Sharon, just a warning that John Paul is a hybrid. I've had him on the south side of the house for about 5 or 6 years, but last year he never bloomed at all. The picture was taken the year before. He's also a late bloomer. I rarely got any blooms before September. But when he does bloom, it's spectacular. 6" blooms! Don't you just love the warm, rich gold colour of Jersey Spider? I can hardly wait to see how well it does this summer. |
