Assignment #8

For assignment #8, let's take some photos of snow. Now this can be anything from a landscape scene to a photo of a snowman.

There are a couple of ways to take photos of snow in order for it to come out looking nice and white. First, if you use your camera on auto and it has a snow setting...use it and let the camera do the work for you. If, however, you don't have a snow setting and use some manual settings...try overexposing the snow by one or two F-stops. You may have to look in your camera's manual to see how to use the manual settings and how to change F-stops. You can also use the exposure compensation button if your camera has one...again you will have to look in your camera's manual to see how to use this.

The goal here is to show the snow as white, not grey or blue. Also try to get some detail in the snow, not just overexpose it so it looks like a whiteout.

This assignment is a tough one, hope you all have fun trying this.
