    Now, for my O's...

    Oxana alstromeria is a pretty little plant. I have brought the whole pot into the sunroom for the winter. The temp in there is always above freezing but some days it is pretty cold, depending upon the temp outside and the wind. It is alive but is not blooming. At least it is still alive.

    In Jan 2005 I bought this orchid at the Manitoba Horticultural Convention. It bloomed from Jan until the end of July. Here is a picture I took June 7, 2007 when it was at its peak of flowering with 12 flowers on the one stem.

    Ostrowskianum Allium (common name is Alpine Rosy Bells) is a pretty little 8-10" allium with pinkish purple flowers.

    {{gwi:701643}}

    Here is Obsidian daylily (Stamile '88, Dor, Tet). It is extremely dark black and has a 4.5" flower on a 27" plant.

    Now for two irises...

    Olive Garden iris is a SDB (Black '96).

    {{gwi:701649}}

    Over Easy Iris is also a SDB (Lankow '90).

    {{gwi:701652}}

    Oklahoma lily...

    {{gwi:701657}}

    Oprah Winfrey lily

    {{gwi:701660}}

    Orange Blush lily

    {{gwi:701662}}

    Orange Monarch lily

    {{gwi:701665}}

    Orange Mountain lily

    {{gwi:701668}}

    Orange Pixie lily

    {{gwi:701672}}

    The Obedient Plant or False Dragonhood (physostegia Virginiana) is a flower that starts to bloom in mid August.

    {{gwi:701675}}

    This is a picture I took of the ocean (Atlantic Ocean) at South Beach, Miami, Florida last Feb. On these cold cold days in the middle of winter it would be nice to be there instead.

    That ocean scene is sure looking really good about now.....especially when right now, outside there's a howling 60km wind and it's -30C!

    Since Sharon posted such a lovely close up shot of Open Hearth daylily, I thought I'd post a clump picture of mine.
    {{gwi:701300}}

    'Oddity' sempervivum
    {{gwi:701684}}

    'Onmyacc' tulips are interesting as the petals don't fall off. They hang on for a long time as they dry.
    {{gwi:701688}}

    That's it for my O's that haven't been posted already.
