    Gil, I see a bee in your Verbascum nigrum, last summer, I couldn't believe how many bees that were buzzing around these plants.

    Laurie, how come your 'Willy' looks bigger than mine ;)

    Looks like your Veronica is a austriaca ssp. teucrium Hungarian Speedwell, looks great with the Snow-in-Summer! I'll have to remember that combination when I do some dividing this spring.

    Great photos everyone!

    When I went looking for the u,v,w I was quite surprised at how many pictures I had for this topic. So, here it goes...

    First is the U's ...
    Uncle Albert Lily

    {{gwi:703330}}

    Then the v's...
    Velvet Night Heuchera (coral bells)

    {{gwi:703332}}

    Another lily, Voodoo Lily. I love the dark red coloring on it.

    {{gwi:703334}}

    Vivaldi Lily

    {{gwi:703336}}

    Another lily, Vanguard Lily

    {{gwi:703338}}

    Now, for a TB iris, Vision in Pink.

    {{gwi:703340}}

    And a daylily, Vanilla Fluff Daylily

    {{gwi:703342}}

    This is a close picture of my Veronica, wooly speedwell.

    {{gwi:703343}}

    Another Veronica, this one is sunny border blue.

    {{gwi:703344}}

    I really like the next two veronicas. This one is Evelyn Veronica with the pink flowers.

    {{gwi:703345}}

    And this one is Royal Candles Veronica.

    {{gwi:703346}}

    Then I also have a maltese cross (Lychnis) that is Vesuvius Lychnis. Here is a picture of its flowers.

    {{gwi:703347}}

    Victoria Louise Poppy has such a pretty pink flower and I love the little 'thumbprint' on the outside of the flower.

    {{gwi:703348}}

    Then of course Violas or Johnny Jump Ups.

    {{gwi:703349}}

    And when winter comes I make a lot of Venison jerky...

    {{gwi:703350}}

    View from my living room over the Assiniboine River Valley...

    {{gwi:703351}}

    Got to start the W's with a very important event in our family...my daughter's Wedding in our yard...

    {{gwi:703352}}

    And of course, I do a lot of Watering in the yard...

    {{gwi:703353}}

    And a few houseplants...the White Fuzzy Wandering Jew...

    {{gwi:703354}}

    And the Bolivian Wandering Jew that spent the summer on the deck...

    {{gwi:703355}}

    An old Wheelbarrow that is now a planter each year...

    {{gwi:703356}}

    Water lettuce in the pond.

    {{gwi:703357}}

    Now, for the Wine Pixie Lily...

    {{gwi:703358}}

    And a few irises...the Wizard of Hope Iris

    {{gwi:703359}}

    And What Again Iris...

    {{gwi:703361}}

    and Wacko Iris...

    {{gwi:703363}}

    a hosta...the Wide Brim Hosta.

    {{gwi:703365}}

    a phlox, the White David Phlox. I like the way it shows off with the old wicker headboard behind it.

    {{gwi:703368}}

    a few daylilies... the first Wine Delight Daylily

    {{gwi:703371}}

    and Watermelon Man Daylily...

    {{gwi:703373}}

    In the spring I see the White Lion Daffodil blooming under the tree...

    {{gwi:703377}}

    And the White Old Fashioned Bleeding Heart...

    {{gwi:703379}}

    And my Wyoming Cannas..

    {{gwi:703382}}

    And of course, it is still Winter here in Manitoba, so here is a Winter picture in my yard.

    {{gwi:703385}}

    But I will not show you a picture of my weeds! Conveniently I have no pictures of them.
