| Laurie, how come your 'Willy' looks bigger than mine ;) Looks like your Veronica is a austriaca ssp. teucrium Hungarian Speedwell, looks great with the Snow-in-Summer! I'll have to remember that combination when I do some dividing this spring. Great photos everyone! |

| Savona, could be our cameras or computer monitors making a difference? William Baffin has deep pink semi-double blooms and William Booth is single medium red to deep pink blooms with a white eye. Sharon |

| When I went looking for the u,v,w I was quite surprised at how many pictures I had for this topic. So, here it goes... First is the U's ... Then the v's... Another lily, Voodoo Lily. I love the dark red coloring on it. Vivaldi Lily Another lily, Vanguard Lily Now, for a TB iris, Vision in Pink. And a daylily, Vanilla Fluff Daylily This is a close picture of my Veronica, wooly speedwell. Another Veronica, this one is sunny border blue. I really like the next two veronicas. This one is Evelyn Veronica with the pink flowers. And this one is Royal Candles Veronica. Then I also have a maltese cross (Lychnis) that is Vesuvius Lychnis. Here is a picture of its flowers. Victoria Louise Poppy has such a pretty pink flower and I love the little 'thumbprint' on the outside of the flower. Then of course Violas or Johnny Jump Ups. And when winter comes I make a lot of Venison jerky... View from my living room over the Assiniboine River Valley... Got to start the W's with a very important event in our family...my daughter's Wedding in our yard... And of course, I do a lot of Watering in the yard... And a few houseplants...the White Fuzzy Wandering Jew... And the Bolivian Wandering Jew that spent the summer on the deck... An old Wheelbarrow that is now a planter each year... Water lettuce in the pond. Now, for the Wine Pixie Lily... And a few irises...the Wizard of Hope Iris And What Again Iris... and Wacko Iris... a hosta...the Wide Brim Hosta. a phlox, the White David Phlox. I like the way it shows off with the old wicker headboard behind it. a few daylilies... the first Wine Delight Daylily and Watermelon Man Daylily... In the spring I see the White Lion Daffodil blooming under the tree... And the White Old Fashioned Bleeding Heart... And my Wyoming Cannas.. And of course, it is still Winter here in Manitoba, so here is a Winter picture in my yard. But I will not show you a picture of my weeds! Conveniently I have no pictures of them. Brenda
