| I'm having a great day so far. I went out with my wildflower friends to the bush. We went very early in the morning after the rain. It was just glorious. The birds were singing and the sun just coming up.
Here's a few pics. The ground was pink with dwarf primrose: 
Wood anemone, I think. 
This is coltsfoot. 
Ventured into the woods and found some early calypso orchids. 
Then into the bog to see the pitcher plants coming up.

| Great shots! Those orchids are so pretty :^) Lucky you! We're rated as the same zone, but I think you must be ahead of us. All I can find are coltsfoot and some mini buttercups :^( I haven't even seen a darn dandilion! |

| Thanks everyone. I was so excited when I came home and posted the pics, I forgot to mention how I hoped you all were having a great mother's day also, whether in the garden or elsewhere! Northspruce, I'm just lucky to be going with people who know where to look. It's kind of like going on a treasure hunt. Lots of fun. Marie |
