Very pretty Shelley! I love that first gazania, and the tulips.......those are really nice fully opened.

Here's a few things from my yard.

    Blumex parrot tulips

'Onmyacc' tulip. The petals on these aren't supposed to fall off. They say they'll stay on and then the whole flower dries.......it'll be interesting to see what they do anyway.;^)
    {{gwi:701688}}

    'Wherryi' tiarella

    Creeping veronica

    'Little Beauty' species tulips

I'm not sure why this pasque flower is so late compared to everyone else's. My red one bloomed quite awhile ago.

Very nice pics, Shelley and Laurie.

Quick question here, if I may... I got some Gazanias for the first time this year (DH spotted them at the Museum Soc. plant sale and *insisted* I get a couple dozen...rough life hey, being *told* to buy plants ;o) Anyway, I'm wondering if they can be propagated, so I'll have more for next year? Will they produce viable seed, or has anyone tried doing cuttings??

I tried saving seed last year. No luck.
But I bought seed and started all of mine. I found them quite easy to start. I plant them in front of my roses, so I need quite a few.

Here are my pics for this week.

There are tulips all over. Here are a few:

    This one is 'Uncle Tom':

Some daffodils. This one might be 'Cheerfulness':

This is a tiny columbine - well, a small plant with a full-size bloom, i should say. Anyhow, it's the only one so far:

I really love lamium, and 'Aureum' is such a pretty one:
    {{gwi:695993}}

Someone posted a pic of their creeping Veronica. I think this may be the same. The question is, where the heck did i get it from? LOL

Allium 'Purple Sensation' is about to become a sensation (again):

Solomon's Seal is blooming in the shady white bed:

Someone said last week that they loved this tiarella ('Spriung Symphony'). If you loved it then, look at it now!

I have other pics of this week but a lot of them turned out fuzzy for some reason - kind of like the way i've been feeling the past couple days. Blech. :/

Marcia, you may have gotten that creeping veronica in with some of the thyme I sent you. Some of mine have mingled together. I don't think that's Cheerfulness in your picure. Mine's a double flower and mainly white.....the center is the palest of yellows, almost white looking.

I do love the tiarella in full bloom too. I can hardly wait til mine are that size of a clump!

Verena, yes gazanias are very easy to start from seed. Both my boys have started them this spring and one has had 2 blooms already. I've never tried saving the seed before, so I can't comment about that.

Laurie, that could be where the veronica came from. Thanks, then - it's pretty! As far as the daffodil goes, i remember that there was another one i had planted at the same time but the name is escaping me. Is there a daffodil with "Joan" in the name? Like, is there a "Joan of Arc" daffodil? That rings a bell. I'll have to check out my lists at home.

What a bad habit i have - not keeping track of things! Oh well, guess i can't resolve to change because i probably won't. :)

Everyone's gardens and blooms are gorgeous. This time of year is just the best!

Here's a few new bloomers from my garden. I took the pics a few days ago and there are more new blooms now, so I'll have to snap their pics later today!

    My youngest little garden-helper!

Columbines are blooming their cute little heads off.

Lovely colour but I'm not sure exactly which columbine this is.

And another favourite Columbine (hard to pick a true favourite though!)

    Morden Belle is going strong!

Lupines are all starting to bloom now!

I have no clue what this is but it sure is cute! Can anyone tell me what it is?

And it just keeps getting better every day!

    I'm enjoying everyone's pictures.

Here's a late tulip in my garden.

A combination that wanted its picture taken. The unfurling hosta is Minuteman.

This polemonium pulcherrimum has been blooming for some time now.

I'm loving all the pictures everybody!

Sometimes I have to peek under things to find flowers in my garden, like this viola Blackjack, who was hiding under a juniper.

I originally had planted a few hens & chicks in this log, but they didn't do well when the juniper took over. Now it's a mushroom garden.;^)

I was the one Marcia that was in love with your Tiarella.
I am looking for that one next year.
Savona, I can't wait until your lisianthus blooms. Mine are not even budded yet. I'm going to have to start them sooner next year.
Laurie, I want a mushroom garden. That looks so cool.
Ang, is your Morden Belle a new purchase or is it from a previous year? If it is an older bush, my goodness is it blooming early. Your little helper is sure cute btw.

Absolutely superb everyone, I love this time a year too.

Ang, can you take a photo of the whole plant of your little yellow flower that you need to be identified, I'm not sure if its golden flax?

Ahhh, you're mushroom garden is so cute Laurie! Sometimes those little surprises Ma Nature gives us are the best.

Here are some from my garden, there are more in my Photobucket ;)

Can you see all those Allium 'Purple Sensation' I planted last year!
