This is one of my mixed beds. I had not paid much attention to what I was planting and it turns out that this bed is summer flowering and the other one is fall flowering.

This is a lily I received from a friend at work. He said he wanted to get rid of a few lilies his father planted. He had allergies and he needed to get them out of his garden. I didn't realize just how bad he wanted to get rid of them until he turned up at my house the next day with a shopping bag full of bulbs!
