Roses 2009

This has been a discouraging year for gardening first with the garden being hit with herbicide drift just when they were leafing out and then a back that wouldn't let me keep up with weeding and dead heading. But a friend took some pictures that didn't show the problems and I felt a bit better so I thought I would share them.

And this morning Minette and Banshee are competing to see which can put on the best display and together with Dr. Merkeley they are perfuming the whole yard
