So which peony do you think it is? I've had it for several years and can't remember for sure. Raspberry Sundae sounds familiar, but i know i don't have another unknown one anywhere in the yard. I probably have it written down somewhere, so i'll have to check.

Shirley should be more pink, right? And it has the little red dohicky in the middle like Festiva Maxima has, which is why i thought it was a mistake.

Brenda is trying to figure out the name of the peony. It's identical to what she has that she thought was 'Bowl of Beauty', and she got it from Walmart so it could have been mislabeled. It's also similar to one she has called 'Harriet Olney', just not quite the same.

Very nice, Marcia! I love that pink peony whatever it is.
BTW, second picture is aruncus or goatsbeard, not cimicifuga. Cimicifuga is a late bloomer. Mine always freezes before the buds get to open.
I want that penstemon. I'm in love with blue flowers this year.

LOL I think we went through this last year. I was all confused.... It's aruncus and the big honking thing that i never got a picture of is persicaria. I must remember that!

Do you want me to save some seeds from the penstemon? It winter sows really easily.
