Stokes Front Page..

I am fascinated by a vegetable plant in the picture on the cover of the 2011 Stokes catalogue. It has a long blue/green curly leaf? with a large white vein running down the centre. Can someone identify this for me? I've never seen this before (I must have lead a sheltered life lol) and would love to order seeds! Thanks

That's Tuscan Kale. It goes by several other names in garden catalogs; Nero di Toscana is another name. I grew it last season, and it is a beautiful plant. Tastes great, too!
