I just got my Botanus catalogue this afternoon and they have it, if it's Asclepias Incarnata "Cinderella" that you'd like. It says it's Zone 3-9. I was thinking of trying it. www.botanus.com You can find it under Featured Items - What's New this Season If you haven't dealt with Botanus before, they're helpful and friendly on the phone. I bought about 140 bulbs from them in the fall.

Thank you so much. Will give them a try.

Beegood - Can you believe that I ended up forgetting about the milkweed from Botanus when I ordered from there, and also forgot that I had found and ordered seeds for them from Vesey's. Must be from too many catalogues and websites. Or, the cold weather is making my memory foggy. Maybe we could do a comparison later between the bare root and from seed. Which color did you order?
|
I know what you mean by the cold making the brain foggy. It's minus 36 out here . I ordered the pinkish one and unless we get warm weather before July it may have to spend the summer in a pot. What little snow that had sort of settled got replaced by even more. Like a diet. Lose a little and gain back twice as much. Yes we will have to compare between seeds and bare root.
