Pal*** Grow Station

Happy New Year Everyone!

I see I'm not the only one whose mind has switched back to gardening mode.

The Sears.ca website has a Palram Grow Station. ( you can find it through their search if you like)

I was thinking of trying it out. Has anyone seen one, used one, heard of one? Or has anyone used some of the other similar products, like the cold frames? Last year I toyed with the idea of building a cold frame from wood and used windows that we have, but the weight of them may be a problem.

My primary use for the Grow Station would be for plants started indoors, ready to go out, but weather still being a factor. I was also thinking of starting lettuce, etc., in it before other plants were ready to go into it.

Any thoughts?

Jeez, you learn something new every day - I didn't know Sears sold that kind of thing!

One of those wouldn't hold up in the winds we get here but maybe in more built up or protected areas it would be all right. It would still need babysitting on sunny days to make sure plants don't cook in there.
