i was in the great state of alaska twice last year. it is truly a paradise!!! one thing that i was impressed with and wanted to learn more about was some porches that had flowers growing in bags (long bags??) on the porch support post. they gave the appearence that the post were entirely made out of flowers. i saw them at soldotna at a fur store and at the princess log on the sterling highway. does anyone know how they make these? any info would be appreciated. hope you are staying warm and enjoying the lovely scene that winter gives you!
