I have a couple that I overwinter in my cold room (pumphouse). Last spring I bought one from Parkland Perennials that I planted in the ground, will see if it makes it this spring.

I wintered several outside in the discharge pond from my heatpump for the house.A small area of the water(pond) remained open all winter due to the dischargeof warmer h2o.It must of kept the small creek where one was a bit warmer but it was covered with 3-4feet of snow,east side of house in a protected hollow and 20-30C below. Can't remember name -one huge white one and one lavenderish cream

I have Picotee Wonder, which I bought in 2003, planted on the south side of the house. Underneath it, about 3' down, is our water cistern. Picotee Wonder has bloomed each year for me, but just slowly is increasing in its fans.

Last year I planted Asian Warrior, Royal Robes, Shogun and Freckled Geisha all within a few feet of Picotee Wonder and am hoping that they also will survive and bloom here.

I've just left mine in the ground. Of course, we've been well blessed with snow cover the last couple of years.
