I leave mine in their containers in a sunny southwest window. They're watered sparingly over the winter, until about March or April when i water more often and start to feed them. They go outside in May or June, depending on the weather.

I usually bring mine out of storage around this time. I cut them right back, pot them up and put them under lights and away they go. I've been thinking about it, but haven't done it yet. My problem is that I have so many plants under the lights already, I don't know where I'll put the geraniums. To be truthful, I think I'm getting tired of the whole process. Why can't I just be like everyone else who just goes out and buys new plants every year?

I know it's a bit of a hassle, but isn't it a great feeling to "revive" some nice plants? In a world where everything is "throw-away", I just like the feeling that I get by seeing my "old" plants come to life again.

But I hear you...they're so inexpensive to buy these days, you wonder why you do it sometimes.

Also, I have a hard time letting them die in the fall because they are so beautiful then.
