favorite garden hand tools

I'm sure many of you, like me, have bought hand tools that didn't perform like they were supposed to, and there they hang in the garden shed unused.

Then there are the ones we wouldn't be without. Mine are--

The garden claw--I find this excellent for turning over the soil in my flowerbeds and mixing in compost and anything else you amend the soil with. You can stand to do it and save your back.

My kneeling bench--easy on the knees and help in getting up as well as a seat in the greenhouse.

I advise any new gardener to buy the best trowel and pruners they can afford. 35 years after I bought my stainless steel trowel it is still going strong.

Now if you have any favorites add them to the list
