In case anyone's interested, Pickering Nurseries is having a Canada-only sale. I got this in an email from them. Unfortunately I already ordered... dangnabbit... "Dear Rose Lovers: Due to an unfortunate circumstance created by the CFIA, we have A LOT of extra rose bushes this season that we can't ship to our American friends (see note on our front page for details). OUR LOSS IS YOUR GAIN! We will be offering all varieties at only $13/each! (Shipping costs remain the same) The sale will run from March 1 until March 30, 2013 or while quantities last. ACT NOW TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT! SOLD OUT VARIETIES: Varieties may end up sold out BEFORE we get to book your order and before they are marked sold out on our web-site. We're sorry you missed out on that variety. We strongly recommend that you accept substitutes. Just pick some when you order or allow Pickering Nurseries Rose professionals to do it for you. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS: All orders that have already been confirmed will excluded from this offer and will remain as booked. Should you cancel previous orders and re-order at the sale price you will be charged a cancellation fee. We will still apply the noted quantity discounts where applicable. We will honour our guarantee policy (for the value of the plant) Delivery must take place between March 1, 2013 and our last ship date in Mid-May, 2013. Lighter grade plants (where available) will be marked down to $11.00 Orders placed now during the sale will not be eligible for 2014 delivery."

Got the same one, Gil. Love the looks of Elegant Fairy Tale but alas, I am on a very restricted diet this season. Not even irises! Oh well, such is life. :/ Ginny

Bah, I can't even look, I'll be too tempted, and I already ordered some from Corn Hill. I'm maxed out on my spending for ornamental's this year, I need to save the rest for apples and plums.
