Suzy Verrier, who wrote books on Rugosa & Gallica roses,

describes 'Lillian Gibson' as simply the best climbing rose for harsh climates. It has been on my wish list for several years but since Cedar Hollow stopped shipping it has not been available. It is grown at Morden on a 6'fence and makes an outstanding performance each year. I contacted Jeffries and they will have 10 of them for sale this summer.
