Where to find Philadelphus lewisii Blizzard?

Hi everyone,

I've been looking for this shrub for ages, no local seller is able to get it. If anyone knows of an online nurery or seller that carries it and delivers in Canada, Qubec in particular, it would be more than welcome!

Thanks!

Hi Kit, I had seen this one previously available, though not of recent. I need a mock orange for my yard and this would be an ideal choice. I'll let you know if I come across it in any of my mail order catalogues ...

Todd Boland, research horticulturist from St. John's, NL, was just here this past week. They have a new cross of P. lewisii and P. delavayi, called Starbright. It has the hardiness of lewisii and the dark calyx of delavayi. Very nice. Perhaps it will be easier to find than Blizzard in the future.

Boughen's nursery near Dauphin, Mb has Mock Orange Lewisii listed in their catalogue. They ship bare root shrubs and trees. Here's the link:

Wow, so fast, thank you so much! I contacted them and yes they do carry them, very interesting. Weird I never stumbled upon their website when I looked all over the place for this shrub... Thanks again.

Let me tell you... Google is not very useful for gardening stuff.
