Pivoines Capano sale

For any peony lovers out there, the online catalog Pivoines Capano (http://www.pivoinescapano.com/en_html/peonieshome.htm) is having a sale on their 2012 catlaog. Not everything is marked down, but I noticed that quite a few of the itoh hybrids are: originally around 140-150 marked down to 79 bucks, which seems like a great deal. I've never ordered from them, so I can't speak to quality or anything, but you might want to check them out!

Already have my order in. This is peony year for me! I have ordered from Capano's in the past and always been pleased. Mano is great to do business with too. :)

PS Also check out Parkland Perennials this year. Bob has a few Itoh varieties too.

Haha, I already got my PP order in! Ginny, how expensive is it approx. to have plant shipped from Capano's? On the order page it said something about overnight shipping which I thought could wind up being very expensive. Or do you ask to have it shipped by a different method?

Me too Weeper. This year I will drive out to see the peonies in bloom and take pictures.

I've only ordered bare root from Capano's in the fall and never just one......:/. True peony addict here. Just send Mano a note and see what the shipping is.

I even ordered a couple of Itoh peonies from Botanus and T&T this year just to see if they would grow. Not had much luck with these catalogue peonies in the past.

Ferncliff also has good prices and huge roots. They have the more common cultivars that are strong growers.
