Hello all,
We just moved into a new house and we put in our first garden in this city this week. I planted all sorts of tomatoes and was really pleased with myself for getting it all done. Well, it turns out that surprise frosts are more common in this city than I realized... the forecast said a low of 5 or so and I woke up this morning to frost on the neighbours' roofs. There also appeared to be some frost on our patio. It rained yesterday evening, so most of the plants and grass were wet. I did go out right away and spray some water on all the tender plants.

Did I do the right thing? Will they all die? Is there anything else I can do to save them???
