I seen a black tartarian cherry at walmart today, The tag on it said good for Zone 2,
Anything I find on the net lists it as zone 5 and higher,
Anybody have any experience with this cherry ?

Walmart is LYING to you! ;) You won't have any success with it in zone'll have to hear from Konrad on this one because he test drives all sorts of stuff, but a big NOPE from me! True sweet cherries like this one won't over-winter here. Big box stores often tease with stuff like this, unfortunately.

The seasonal manager at Canadian Tire once told me that we were a "mix of zone 3 and zone 5"! So you can guess how much they know!
