I bought some plants at the greenhouse today because they looked so nice. I'd never seen them before, but bought them anyway. The book I got from the University of Saskatchewan, called Annuals for the Prairies, doesn't list them. Uh Oh. Has anyone grown them before?

I also bought a pot full of 6 romaine lettuce. I'm such a sucker. I considered the fact that I could just plant my own from seed, but they looked so good I wanted to take a bite right then and there! My girlfriend says she tries to limit her flower spending to about $200.00. I don't know how she does it. I spent over $100.00 today and I haven't even started =:)
