| Does anyone grow this? I planted a male (Hercules) and a female (Diane)last spring and they look pretty poor this spring. The female is trying to put out about 4 leaves, but its stuggling. The male looks dead but I would like to hope it might send up shoots. They are labeled zone 2.
Just wondering what your experience with them are and any suggestions for where they might do better. They are in well drained soil (I added well composted manure to planting hole) facing west with their back to a fence so they can climb. I would say they are pretty close to full sun. Thanks :') |
