hot pepper plants

I tried growing hot peppers this year along with my usual sweet peppers. Something is eating the hot peppers but leaving the sweet peppers alone. I'm wondering if it's earwigs because they are really bad this year. Anybody know what kind of psycho bug we have? Why would they attact the hot peppers and not the others? TIA Marg

LOL, I was going to suggest you try the hot pepper forum, but I was just browsing it and see you've already been there and got your answer. I remember earwigs from my years in Ottawa, fortunately they don't seem to have made it to Alberta, at least not yet.
