Sounds like winter damage, hopefully it will pull through.

when i called the local orchard.. down here near ann arbor MI ..

i was told all peach and cherry did not bloom this year..

and they were wondering about apple loss also ...

based on pix ... i can tell.. spring was 3 to 4 weeks late this year.. across all plants in my garden ...

on my peach and cherry.. there is no leaf damge.. jsut no flower... if you have leaf damage.. one might suspect.. they arent going to flower...

the tree is stressed .... personally i dont fert stressed plants.. they are stressed.. not hungry ... though fruit peeps might do it differently ...

Prune it use the trees energy for growing new limbs this year. They grow on last years growth.
Is there any green on the tree yet?

All my peaches that were outside this year and last died. Are you sure the tree is still alive?

Peaches are rated zone 5 but don't grow well in that zone either. I think zone 5peach is like a zone 3 apricot. You'll be lucky to get fruit

Yeah...winter damage, in about two weeks, cut all dead branches off, looks like only the center stem left, which is fine, from there new branches will form. The only problem I fear,..it will be allot of "NEW" growth and these don't take the winter very well, don't cut any new branches back, you need all the wood you can get for better hardening off, don't water tree in end of August, but you can, after a couple of frost.
