I have 2 plants from a clump that I took out of my mothers garden years back, her plant was a fern leaf with double flowers that reverted(?) to the flat leaf single flower. One of the plants came up fern leaf with double flowers the other has remained to the flatter leaved single flower. I was wondering if anyone knows what causes this as I really want to keep the fern leaf. Other question is that everything I read says that they are not fertile yet I found 2 new plants far enough away from the main plant to think they are seedlings not offshoots has anyone had luck growing from seed
