Hiding Oriental Poppy Foliage

What do you use to hide the dying foliage of the Oriental Poppy? I am planting a Royal Wedding White Oriental Poppy and would like suggestions please. I do have some potted perennials such as daylily, cranesbill, sedum, columbine to chose from but not sure if any of these would be a good choice. Thanks.

Myself, i would choose the daylily because it not only gets taller but the foliage 'fans out' and will hide what's behind it. Marg

After my oriental poppies finish blooming I cut the foliage back. Soon they send up new green leaves and will bloom again for me in late summer.

My vote would be for the daylily as well.

Hmm, that's interesting Savona, I'll have to try that. Thanks for the tip!
