Dollar store tomato planter

I am doing a little experiment this year to see what the differences are of growing tomatoes in the ground vs in a planter. Since I planted 42 tomatoes this year (many of which are only singletons) and I am too lazy to dig more garden space, I got creative for planters. This is what I came up with using dollar store supplies. I think it works just fine. :)
