Mytime, we would love to have you aboard! To ensure the highest level of care we require new chapters to send half of its shelter plants to the founding chapter. When the plants are deemed to be healthy they will be sent back to find forever homes. Please enclose a SASE with your $100 initiation fee for important paperwork.

North, if I win my court case proving that plants have feelings I will have the local police pick them up for me. I truly feel that they will be one of the largest groups dropping off plants. When I talked to them on the phone about it they asked me to "come in" as soon as I could to discuss it with them. Excited!!

Ginny, since you already forfeited neglected seeds I am sure some leniency will be given. If you feel like you are neglecting them you really should give them up. Better safe than sorry.

SCG, perhaps you can simply ADOPT the garden centres at the big box stores? You will have plenty of foster "kids" in no time! And you can certainly set up chapters across the country easily and quickly....LOL

Great! SCG, make sure you get some big contracts with the big boys and girls at the big box stores!!! If you get a dollar for every abused plant there, you will be a millionaire in no time...! :-)

My contribution is to rescue and remove them from these stores soon after they get off the delivery truck, while they are still strong and healthy... LOL

And so it starts for another season.........went on an adoption/rescue mission last night at Home Depot, Walmart, and Canadian Tire............The abuse is getting worse than ever! Some of those poor things literally grabbed me with their roots as I ran past them! So sad! Might have to set up a chapter of this nature in my own yard!
