While I impatiently wait for these to ripen, I thought I'd post where my backyard cherries are right now...

Evans pic below... by far the slowest so far, still completely green

Romeo pic below... starting to ripen, but they will be dark purple when fully ripe

Juliet pic below... seems to be the slowest of the SK cherries, but not really too far behind the others.

SK Carmine Jewel pic below... definitely the most ripe and the heaviest producer, but with small fruit. Maybe those qualities are linked?

Cupid pic below... almost as ripe as Carmine Jewel, but much bigger fruit. If I lay one of these cherries overtop a quarter, the quarter is completely covered. But this bush seems not as healthy as the other bushes, with some yellowed branches. Maybe that's an issue, maybe not, time will tell I guess.
