To those who asked what the name of the lily on a previous post ( Rain must help ) was. I asked Lynette Who I got it from and it is Red Velvet. She still had it on record when I bought it . 2008. So it for sure is hardy considering the very cold and crappy weather we have had.

It could also be Midnight Raspberry. Red velvet is taller while mine is a little on the shorter side and I had ordered both.

RE: Red Velvet

Might be MR as I just got the Vessy's fall cat. today; they have Red Velvet available and she looks like a tiger lily. Could there be two RV?

RE: Red Velvet

Yes, I believe there are 2 RV's. One is a tiger lily, and the other is either a LA hybrid or an asiatic. You'd think with all the words in the english language they could come up with different names. Oh well. She is a beauty, Beegood, whoever it is.

RE: Red Velvet

The Red Velvet is definitely a Midnight Raspberry. I will have to keep better track of my lilies.
