Anyone plant Bishop's Weed from seed with success?

I have an area between my shed and the retaining wall where we used to keep firewood.
Now that we no longer have the firewood and all is there now are weeds, I'm thinking of harvesting the seed from some Bishop's Weed that I have contained elsewhere in my yard and tossing it in the area by the shed, where there is no chance of it spreading :)
Anyone else ever tried this and had success?

Why would you bother with all that?

Just dig up half a shovel full of it, throw it on the ground in the new spot and even stomp on it if you want, and within two years, you'll have an area about 4x4 feet or more.

That's what I did :)

Sorry, I'm no help...I usually make the sign of the cross when I see goutweed...took me six years to get rid of it, so not likely to ever put it in my garden no matter the conditions. ;)

nutsaboutflowers, thanks, I did find a couple strays along with a new shoot off my bleeding heart that I moved to the area :)

Donna, I'm sure most will wonder at my madness of wanting to do this lol. It's an area that I want little to do with as possible cuz there are always spiders hanging off the shed! ;)
