LOL...good for you. I've also lately been "getting tough" on some of the mediocre plants in my garden. I just don't have room for stuff that is only sort of nice, or has some undesireable characteristics. I finally dug up some terribly ugly electric orange lilies and threw them out...they never opened properly, always looked sickly, and the flowers were quite narrow petaled and sparse looking. New daylily space!!

That's me. I'm getting so if I don't like it out it goes unless some one wants to give it a home ( in the VERY near future)

The only bargain I managed to get this year were two plants I can't remember the name of, and a bloody cranesbill 50% off. I guess somebody else got all the $5.00 roses, boo hoo !

I guess I'm not quite seasoned enough, as I can't bring myself to dig up anything that's not quite what I want yet. Maybe next year.

Ah, yes, purging is so satisfying, isn't it? I'm in the process now of taking inventory of what stays and what goes...it's going to be tough.

I'm still trying to convince my sons that they want to get rid of all the white rock beside the sunroom so that I can make a new bed there. Now, how to make it into a game, hmmm...and with no slingshots allowed.;)
