Help, my leaves are turning dark red- brown.

Any ideas to whats causing this. I first noticed this happening with my saskatoon seedlings, the new growth and the old are turning a dark red to brown color. Then I took a look around my yard and my pear tree, plum trees, apple trees are all doing the same. I also noticed it on some of my weeds.

I also noticed some quack grass turning purple.

Is it just the colour of the leaf or are there changes to the texture - crispy or wilted or anything like that?

Just the color, otherwise it seems to be a normal leaf.
