Yes, the blooms are pretty tiny. About the size, or a bit smaller than a Johnny Jump-up. A few weeks ago, when I looked at them, I was disappointed and thought, " ya well, I tried them". However, now they're blooming profusely so there's almost a sea of blue. I'm not at all disappointed anymore =:)

I seed these every year with either Iceland poppies or California poppies.
They always perform well.

There is supposed to be a strain of phacelia california which has larger flowers, but I have not been able to acquire it yet.

nuts, I like these with pink petunias in planters. They put on a beautiful show. Very pretty indeed.

I was planning on sowing some seeds for these again this year but............

I don't have to. I have a ton of them coming up, and even one that has a bloom =:)

I still really love my California bluebells =:)
