ROS changing color?

Last year I posted that my 2 white ROS had been transplanted to the garden. They were surrounded by Malva and I thought it would look nice. One branch on one of the plants started having lavender flowers. This year, both plants are now completely lavender. Any ideas why this might have happened? Marg

I don't know but some of my lillies have done that. And I had a pink and a white Shamrock and put them in the same pot and they both turned white.

I also started some Vulcan Malope from seed this year. One came up the true Vulcan color but the other turned out to be a clear white. Didn't even know they came in white. Marg
